I often wonder if J.K. Rowling wakes up every morning thinking about how wonderful it is to be so talented, creative, and successful. And after she sits down at her computer and pounds out another funny, thought-provoking, and insightful book with tons of commercial appeal, she pours herself a cocktail and congratulates herself on her awesomeness. Or maybe not J.K. Rowling specifically, but... you know what I mean.
It seems like the brain has this mechanism thing where no matter how successful or productive or talented a person is, it always sort of just goes "meh. I can do better". OR maybe she just rolls out of bed and goes I CAN WRITE GREAT BOOKS LOL. Who knows! I kind of hope so.
